Frequently asked questions

Common questions about privacy, accounts, reviews, and verification.

Is my email shown publicly?

No. Public pages show your chosen username. Your email is used privately for authentication, recovery, and security.

Are reviews and discussions completely anonymous?

They are published under your unrelated username, but no online service can promise perfect anonymity. Never include real names, badge numbers, exact dates, cases, patients, or identifying operational details.

Why is my review or report pending?

Reviews and structured community reports may require moderation before publication or inclusion in anonymous statistics. You can track private salary and hiring reports from your Dashboard.

How does professional verification work?

Applicants and cadets can choose their own profile role. Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Dispatch, and Corrections badges require private moderator vetting. Do not upload credentials or government identification through public forms.

What should I do about an urgent emergency?

Cadet Collective is not an emergency service. Call 911 or contact the appropriate agency. Do not submit threats, active incidents, patient details, or time-sensitive operational information here.
